Payment

1. The Clients shall pay all fees to Canapes Wedding in the below manner:

a. The Clients shall pay to Canapes Wedding the Initial Deposit on the date of signing the Agreement.  

b. The Clients shall pay to Canapes Wedding the 2nd Deposit within 3 months after the 1st Deposit.

c. Reservation of the Premises on the Event Date will only be confirmed upon receiving the 2nd Deposit from the Clients.  

d. The Clients shall pay to Canapes Wedding the Balance Payment 1 month in advance of the Event Date. 

e. In the event where the Clients failed to pay the Balance Payment 1 month in advance of the Event Date, an extra 10% penalty of the Agreed Quotation will be charged as a punitive fee, payable together with the Balance Payment. 

f. In the event where the Clients failed to pay the Balance Payment together with the arisen punitive fee 14 days before the Event Date, it will be regarded as the Clients’ unilateral withdrawal from this Agreement. All payments paid to Canapes Wedding will be forfeited, and the Premises will no longer be available to the Clients on the Event Date.

g. In the event where Further Fees are payable, these shall be paid on the Event Date before the event ends.

Special Terms and Conditions concerning Bad Weathers 

1. Bad Weather, for the purpose of this Bad Weather Terms, is hereby defined as the situation where a Black Rainstorm Signal and/or No. 8 Gale or Storm Signal or above is hosted by the Hong Kong Observatory.

2. In the event of Bad Weather, it would be illegal for Canapes Wedding to provide any services under The Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance, there will be no circumstances that Canapes Wedding will agree the continuance of the Event. Clients may, by way of a 14-day notice to Canapes Wedding, postpone the Event to a later date not later than 9 months from the original Event Date (subject to the availability of the Premises and Canapes Wedding), without additional cost. 

3. The right to postpone without additional cost, as stated in Clause 3 above, could only be exercised once by the Clients. Any further postponement of the Event may need to be agreed by Canapes Wedding in writing, and Canapes Wedding may reserve right to a postponement fee as it sees fit. 

4. An administrative charge for postponement will become chargeable where Clients failed to provide Canapes Wedding their notice to postpone within 7 days of the Event Date. The calculation of administrative charge is as follow:

5. HKD 5,000, if the Clients notify Canapes Wedding within 7 days of the original Event Date; or
b. 20% of the Agreed Quotation, if the Clients notify Canapes Wedding within 72 hours of the original Event Date; or 
c. 50% of the Agreed Quotation, if the Clients notify Canapes Wedding less than 72 hours of the original Event Date.

6. If no notice to postpone is provided to Canapes Wedding at all, it will be regarded as the Clients’ unilateral withdrawal to this Agreement, all already paid deposit and /or fees (if any) will be forfeited by Canapes Wedding.

7. Any cancellation of the Event will be regarded as the Clients’ unilateral withdrawal to this A greement, all already paid deposit and /or fees (if any) will be forfeited by Canapes Wedding.
